With a favorable home schedule and the Sox and Tigers fading.............Minnesota Twins: 2006 American League Central Champions. Only 6 1/2 back with Liriano coming back soon. You all know it's going to happen

Nah, Tigers are in fine shaspe. Personally I`m terrified of facing you guys in the LDS or LCS so I`m rooting against you very hard. A great closer, great defense, best 1-2 combo in baseball and a solid number 3 guy in the rotation and you aren`t lacking TO m,uch in offense. Basically I view you as a more balanced and better 2005 Houston Astros. I think you will unfortunately, win the WC though.

We will certainly win the Wild Card in front of those pesky Red Sox and those White Sox .

I thought that Garza looked pretty sharp last night. He's improving with each start and once the playoffs start, the lineup of Santana-Liriano-Radke-Garza is going to be unhittable. :::calls Twin's front office to get in line for World Series tickets::: :clapping

It's not over yet. I wouldn't start printing those banners yet, but the Twins seem to have a lot of momentum.

The Tigers finish with three games at home versus the Royals who they are 14-1 against.

Say Goodnight, Gracie.

Even if they fall short, the Twins have to be applauded for coming on as they did. I remember on a couple of occasions a fan of a certain Eastern team lamenting about poor Joe Mauer having to play for such a poor team.
As a Tiger fan, I'm not counting on anything. This has been most thrilling, and I'm glad it's the Twins who are causing all the drama.
Just don't cause too much drama, ok?

I am also not very happy with the Twins as our opponents. Not that I dislike them, but they have a good and balanced team in every way. They have given the Yankees a hard time this season.
