Hi fellow A's Fans,
I have been an Oakland A's Fan for many years, back to the Reggie Jackson days. I live in Kansas, so i attend every game the A's have in Kansas City. It had been a long time since i had seen them lose here. Friday night was really hard to swallow. The one thing that really stands out like a sore thumb is the play of Milton Bradley. I can agree that he did spark the offense for a while, but his defense is less than Bush League. He didnt run for balls, he jogged, he didnt put much swing on the ball, he half checked. He wouldnt even give children the time of day wanting autographs.
Maybe its me, but i am used to the Athetics style of ball, hustle everything out, if they dont sign auto's they at least waive or acknoledge the fans.
There is always a pretty good showing of A's fans here in KC surprisingly. Lots of green in the stands on our side, always nice to see. Lets keep the winning going, into the playoffs beyond the 1st round!!!
