Need a League Name, city and team names for each aswell

Also I have all the season disk back to 2003 (I have them all the way back to 99 but I'd need to go buy a jump drive to transfer them from my desktop to my laptop since before 2003 they were on disks)... so we could draft teams and just run seasons all the way from 99 to the present... like start with 99 and do maybe 3 games a day everyday... we'd get to 2006 in a bout 2 years or so.... could do more then that a day if people wanted...

Just would be rather difficult since so many young players are being picked

That makes sense. I'm just wondering how this'll work with all these rookies, such as Markakis, Liriano, Uggla, Verlander, and Papelbon. I mean, they could be created on the game... Can you go into the future? Or is that just with the projections disk? Maybe OOTP would be better, but you can't create a custom league...

Id have to have their stats to go into the future... and since they are rookies or had very few IP/ABs last season it wouldnt simulate well

I get the disks for free, because my brother runs a league... I'll just get the disk when im at his apartment

You could simulate seasons over and over again using the same stats... but unless you redraft teams everytime it would really be pointless as the results would be nearly the same

I did some research on the subject of sim games, and I found this: OOTP is great for this, almost as realistic as DiamondMind, and you can go into the future; however, it's really slow to sim. Baseball Mogul isn't as accurate, but it's quite a bit easier. OOTP is available for Mac, so I could do that; however, I'd need 35 bucks. :D Just kidding. I'm not sure if you can advance multiple seasons with the same season disc, so I don't know if that would work. OOTP is good for this purpose, and I wouldn't mind simming it. Baseball Mogul would work as well, and DiamondMind will do as well; however, I'd prefer to use OOTP... I just don't have it yet.

i also thought about these options:

1) a schedule in which everyone would have a designated 4hr window

it would go like 8am-12noon, 12noon to 4pm, 4pm-8pm, 8pm-midnight...that way we would get through 4 picks/day

2) 1 pick per day for everyone
a) 1st come, 1st served or a
b) 13-hr clock from 9am-10pm...1 hour per pick...the order would change each day...for example, CK #1 today would go to #13 tomorrow

in any case, i'll try and not take your guys
