The Facade at Yankee Stadium, The Green Monster and Pesky Pole at Fenway, The Brick and the Ivy at Wrigley, The Rotunda and rightfield Scoreboard at Ebbetts Field. What do you feel are the most representative symbols of other Major League Franchises, past and present?

"Pesky Pole" is a funny one, what a sham, the guy hit less than 2 Homeruns a Year and played only 7 season with Red Sox. Im sure its because it rymes.

Why dont they call it the "Peacock Pole" or The "Partee Pole" after a couple other extremely lite hitting Red Sox of the 1930-40s.

To ad a few....

SF Giants..... windblown hotdog wrappers, or Splash Hits (by the soon to be greatest HR hitter ever!)
Mariners...... Kingdome
Kansas City........ waterfalls
Twins............. garbage bags
Houston...... Astroturf
Chicago Cubs........ losers

How about McCovey's Cove in San Francisco or Tal's Hill in Houston.

It was the light tower that Reggie Jackson hit in the 1971 All Star Game for Tiger Stadium. For Comerica, either the monuments or the merry go round.
For the Brewers, it has to be the mascot (Is that Bernie who does it?) down the slide for a homer.

It doesn't even rhyme all that well. ;) Maybe it's an ethnic allusion.

The Pool at D-Backs Chase Field, U.s. Cellulars "exploding scoreboard", and I always think of that giant milk jug at the Metrodome

I'd say it's the sausage races...either way, it's a pathetic way for your club to be remembered. :ughh

I'll always remember the Brewers for the best logo ever IMO, the M/B glove.
