ChiSox73, it looks like the ChiSox are pretty much back to normal now (2005 normal) I can only believe that they are back. I still think the Tigers are going to hold them off somehow, but the southsiders have increased their odds of entering the postseason by leaps and bounds.

That Tigers series was huge. We went in there 8 1/2 back and a sweep by them would have meant 11 1/2 up on their part and a season series tie. A series win by the Tigers would have them 9 1/2 up. Instead, they have only a 5 1/2 game cushion (5 in the losses) and can't let up. The next win against the Tigers clinches the season series, breaking any ties for the division. The Tigers needed that win last night at Boston, otherwise the series at Comerica would probably truly be for first instead of just symbolically; it still could.

amen to that....however, beating the Red Sox last night, 3-2,
really helped out a lot..along with KC beating the ChiSox...
with a little luck, we could sweep the BoSox....but if not, at least
they won that series...which is the goal, here on out...take each
series...unless they can sweep 'em...
the sox have their work cut out for them..but i think they will
hold off the twins and red sox for the wc
