Which autograph-copy was stamped on your first glove (assuming your glove had one)? Mine was Dwight Gooden.

I'm not quite sure who was on my bat. I'm inclined to say Darryl Strawberry or Ryne Sandberg (though I also somewhat think now, that Sandberg may have been on my first glove and not Gooden).

None on the one my dad bought for me about 4 years ago. But as I'm getting older, I'm using some older gloves like Ron Guidry and Jack Morris that I find around the house.

If I remember correctly I think it was Ron Cey.

I had that glove forever probably still have it somewhere. I remember when we were doing a team photo and the photographer wanted a mitt in the picture next to our little plaque. I was the closest so I presented my glove. He said no way that gloves looks all beat up somebody else get me a glove. It's the only glove I ever owned. My parents were really cheap.

The bat we used was an Aurelio Rodriguez model.

My first glove was my father's old glove and it had Bobby Shantz's signature.

My first "new" glove had Reggie Jackson's signature.

I still have both gloves. :)

I'm sure I'm not the oldest but shortly after I watched Cesar Cedano I played against Roger Clemens in High School. As for the Lefty with the Brooks Robinson glove, as a lefty also I always felt it odd years later that I would have killed for a glove signed by Buddy Bell.

My first glove was Dale Murphy, which I always thought was kind of strange since it's a left handed glove and Murphy bat/threw right handed.

I wish the glove I used now had a signature, but most gloves I see at where I work, sporting good store, all have just the brand name, with the exception of the 9 inch Alex Rodriguez glove.

Kirk Gibson.

I remember it had a tag that had a picture of him in a Tigers Uniform. It is still the glove that I use today and I can't change it because it fits too perfectly for me.

Stan Musial.

This is interesting because when my mom bought it new for six year old me it was 1973 and he'd been retired for ten years. I didn't know this, of course, I basically remember being pissed off that it was a grown up glove and all the other kids had kids gloves. This went away two or three years later when I suddenöy not only had the same grown up glove, but it was all broken in when the other kids were just getting their new ones, so thanks Mom.
