Michigan-Ohio Girls' Baseball League
A brand new girls' baseball league is forming in Michigan-Ohio. League's areas will include the Detroit area and Toledo, Ohio and beyond. Play will start in 2007, and 2 age divisions are being targeted at the moment... 9-11 year olds and 12-14 year olds. If there is overwhelming response to start other age divisions for 2007, it will happen. Plans are to start divisions for all ages eventually... 5-16 and structuring them similar to age divisions in other sports and baseball leagues (4U, 6U, 8U, 10U, etc.).
Players, coaches, and volunteers wanted. Right now, there are 3 teams being established... one in the Ann Arbor, MI area, one in the Farmington/Farmington Hills, MI area, and one in Toledo, Ohio.
If anyone is interested in playing on one of these teams, please contact me at DetroitDanger@comcast.net. Also, if an adult is interested in starting a team in their area, please contact me for details and to get in the loop of e-mail discussions.
