Looking to collect cards from the late 60's to 1970. Re-living my childhood I guess. Any opinions out there on which sets they preferred (and why) from that time period?

'67 Topps is probably the best set from that time frame.

If you consider the time frame to be 1967 to 1973, here is how I rank them:

1967
1972
1971
1970
1969
1968
1973

I am in the process of completing a 1972 set. It was the first set I ever collected. My 1972-74 cards were mostly lost, but I still have nearly everything I collected from 1975-1991.

You ranked the '73 set exactly where I would. Collectively the worst selction of photos I've ever seen on a major issue card set.

I'm doing a 72 Set myself, it was the largest set produced up to that date. Interesting neon design also.

thanks blazePersonally, unless their high or semi-high numbers, I think you'd be lucky to get $50.
