I just bought a Hank Aaron autographed baseball. I am not sure if it is authentic though. The coa is from Madison Sports Management, Inc.
I am especially concerned because of the "a" in Hank, it doesn't look right to me. Please look at the photographs. What does everyone think, is it authentic?

You could send it off to PSA/DNA to have it authenticated. I think they charge $20 to authenticate an Aaron auto.

Henry Aaron's signature changes from time to time and is sometimes sloppy.
Just Google Images and compare

Looks Ok to me.....
BTW $100 is high for an Aaron ball, they usually sell for $40-$80 on ebay

It looks like his signature. However, the only way to tell is to have it authenticated. Even, then you still can't be 100% sure, but the odds will be more in your favor.

Well as others have said no way to know for sure unless you get it authenticated. As a reference here are some photos of a jersey i had done in person so I know it was Aaron that signed it:

Looks like it might be authentic to me... However, I never heard of Madison Sports Management, nor do they appear to have any credentials anywhere. About 98% of COAs are totally useless. Always buy with caution, as there are boatloads of fakes running around.

I spoke to the guy i bought the Aaron ball from, and he said it was OK if I returned it. I told him I felt really bad about it, and I did, but that he said it was ok, because he didnt want to loose my business, i had done a lot of business with this dealer beforehand. So anyway, I returned the baseball and got my money back. The reason: I was secondguessing that it was authentic, and as one of the fever posters mentioned, when i tried to research the name of the business that did the coa online, on the website it lasted the names of top athletes it had who signed there, and Aaron wasn't listed, -that was a big red flag for me. and that "a" in Hank didn't look like anything i had seen in other Aaron pictures. Thank you for the imput everyone.
