We will hit the offseason for FP softball in about two months. Whichever team my daughter plays with will do offseason workouts probably once a week through the winter. She'll also spend time in individual lessons trying to fix some things with her swing in preparation for next year as well as continuing catching lessons. Also playing basketball in the winter, which involves practice three days a week and games on weekends.
Anyway, the question is what's the optimal amount of time to spend working on hitting? I'm thinking lessons once a week and then probably going to the cage and doing tee work and hitting off machines twice a week (if I can convince her to go that much).
Any thoughts?
