It has been said that the Cardinals do not have trade bait, but how about in Double A. Is Sidney Poderanz a possibity? He is like 7-3 or 7-4 at Springfield. Is there anyone else in Double A?

i don't know who you're talking about. did you mean stuart pomeranz?

i'm sure a lot of teams would like pomeranz. he's fairly highly rated (second round pick in '03), he's tall (6'7), and has a mid-90's fastball. he's the type of player you can dream about becoming a star. he's exactly the type of player that jocketty likes to dangle in front of the deadline sellers.

Yes, that is exactly who I was talking about. I somewhat knew the name. I don't think that we should give up on Jocketty. He has made on one bad trade near this trade deadline that was the Chuck Finley for Coco Crisp. The McGwire, Rolen, Walker trades were all good ones as well as Woody Williams. Jocketty usually makes better trades than not. Another example being the Jim Edmonds trade. Yes, the Angels received Adam Kennedy, but I sure 98% of the people would rather have Edmonds than Kennedy.
