:laugh Always good for a laugh
Remember Walker!
"Purchased the contract of 3B Fernando Tatis from Triple-A Ottawa and have outrighted IF/OF Howie Clark to Ottawa; Recalled RHP Hayden Penn from his rehab assignment and optioned him to Triple-A Ottawa; Outrighted INF Howie Clark."

Canadian prospect Adam Loewen has given up 7 runs so far in a 7-3 Ray lead, here's Tatis playing his debut while a young Canadian is on the mound:

Tatis is a jinx!
Our best pitcher got food poising....and we're on our third starting pitcher of the night.
LOL...
Seriously, though, It's nice to have a back up 3B. Mora seems to be getting hurt a lot.

It's a nice opportunity to take a look at what happened to the last guys who wore the Expos pinstripes. The 2004 Expos; Where are they now?
The following players are still in Washington, tough many of them are on the DL:
- Livan
- Armas
- Cordero
- Eischen
- Patterson
- Schneider
- Johnson
- Vidro
- Corcoran
- Rauch
- Ayala
- Day
- Shawn Hill
- Church (AAA)
- Cabrera, Maicer Izturis and Juan Rivera are in Anaheim
- Scott Downs is in Toronto (is 4-0 I believe)
- Tomo Ohka is in Milwaukee
- Brad Wilkerson is in Texas
- Endy Chavez is the starting right fielder with the Mets, the best team in the NL (???)
- Gary Majewski and Brendan Harris are in Cincy
- Claudio Vargas is with the White Sox
- Jamie Carroll as been starting in Colorado lately
- Terrmel Sledge is in the Padres minor league system
- Einar Diaz is in Buffalo, AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians (Actually, that's an interesting tandem of catchers they have in Buffalo. Diaz's understudy is none other than... Tim Laker!)
And the following players are looking for major league employement:
- Batista, both the Beltran brothers, Bentz, Biddle, Horgan, Kim, Tucker, Calloway, Mateo, Cepicky and Pascucci.

And I almost forgot about Peter Bergeron. He's playing in the Phillies farm system, in AA mind you. And he's not even hitting ,300 (wow, did we rob the Dodgers when we got that guy or what...)

I just saw Bergeron play in Ottawa on tuesday night. He's putting up decent numbers in AAA and he made a nice diving catch to rob someone of a double.
He's a big guy, you don't realize it until you see him live.

Well well well... Aint that something. Peter Bergeron as the faculty to be at two places at the same time... And none of them is the major leagues.
That's just weird...
He has 177 AB at AA Reading with a BA of ,288 (8 steals, caught stealing 5 times) and as a ,202 BA at AAA Scranton--Wilkes-Barre in 104 AB's.

Tatis is the only major leaguer to do something... I don't remember what exactly. Didn't he hit 2 grand slams in the same inning or something?
Edit: Yup. Here it is:
April 23, 1999: The Cardinals defeat the Dodgers, 12–5, as 3B Fernando Tatis sets a major league record by hitting two grand slams in a single inning. His two homers came in St. Louis' 11–run 3rd inning. He also sets a record with eight RBIs in the inning, while LA P Chan Ho Park becomes the 1st pitcher this century -- and only the 2nd ever -- to surrender two grand slams in a single frame. Bill Phillips of the Pirates did so in 1890. Park became the 36th major-leaguer to serve up two slams to the same player in his career.
