There is a new baseball instuctional manual that is hitting the market. It is awsome! What makes it unique from all the other things on the market is it is for coaches, players and parents! It starts at t-ball and takes the instruction all the way to the college level. It has been endorsed by some of the top baseball people in the country (Trot Nixon and others). Coach Ray Tanner (USC, USA National Team and former USA Olympic Coach) wrote the forword for this book. It is 19 chapters long and over 250 pages. It contains 8 very detailed instructional DVDs. Visit www.baseballmanual.com to see what this is all about. I have purchased a copy and I want other coaches to know about this resourse becase it helped me so much.

Sarcasm is not necessary here. This is a genuine thread to let those who really care about baseball and want a comprehensive resourse to improve thier knowledge of the game and how to coach it or play it. There are many parents who don't have a clue what to do to help thier son or daughter get better and would love to know how to go aabout it and better yet have it all in one resource. This is what the manual has allowed for me and my son.

If you visit the site www.baseballmanual.com and go under the table of contents, you will see all that the manual contains and you won't be so quick to make a childish response to this thread. Sometimes when you see something really worth while these days, you want to share it with others who are seeking the same information. Thats what I did here, because I know that good baseball people visit this site.

Forum rules. First post and it's an advertisement? I'm sure others will take this the same way. Look at it from the point of view of people who are in a forum that is used to being spammed by "advocates" of a new product or offering.

Having said that, I did go to your link.

Yea I guess your right, it did come accross like an advertisement. sorry about that. I guess my desire to help others could be taken the wrong way. I posted in the coaching section because I thought this would be the place where people could see the benefits of such a manual. I did not really look closely at the forum rules because it was not my intent to advertise for the publisher. Sorry about that.

I think many people here believe that you are working on behalf of the publisher. I think it's great that you're trying to push a new, and from what I've seen, in depth program to the masses. However, in terms of hitting at least, I think the board has already found the program they're looking for.
Good luck, however.
Regards.

WonderMoney's right, coach. Perhaps you can highlight what is on these dvds for the members here, with a clip here and there and a snippet of text to show why this is such a good manual. Everyone here has their opinions, and the proof is in the you-know-what in regards to what works and what doesn't.

I agree with the first flag of thinking he's working for the publisher, but I don't think that it should be ignored because the board has already found the program they're looking for. Says who? The majority maybe agree and I do in basic principle but I still want exposure to other thoughts.

Thanks. That thread is a good idea.

Though it doesn't seem very popular.

*cries*

If I get some responses I'll start formatting it. Putting in some basic categories, etc.

I did some reading on Coach Mongero. Very respectable.
