Garland Comes Up Huge!!

Jon Garland pitched a spectacular game tonight as the White Sox took the opener of a very crucial 3-game set in Dtroit with a 7-1 win.

Garland went 7 innings,giving up a run on 6 hits,while striking out 5 to raise his record to 9-3 on the year.:clapping

Paulie went deep twice,and Joe Crede went yard for the Sox.

But my Player of the Game goes to Garland for coming up huge when the beleaguered starting rotation needed him.:clapping

That was huge! We really need Garland to pitch his potential. The 6 guys we have that can start a game have so much potential. Frankly its a mystery why Garcia cant get either velocity or location very well this year. I think Ozzie popped a wing nut and really had them fired up tonight.:clapping
