bobby abreu
alfonzo soriano
pat burrel
torii hunter
other

who do you think has the best possibilty of becoming a cardinal this year? Who is the most logical choice?

I think that bobby abreu has the best chance
but i think that alfonzo is more logical

I would love to have Alfonso. I think the Angels will get them, though. He would be a perfect two hitter in the Cardinal lineup.

i'd take hunter if the price wasn't too high. edmonds probably won't be back next year (he has a club option for ten mil) and if we could get hunter and sign him to a long term deal, we solve a potential future CF problem. also, carlos lee is a free agent next year too and, while i'm spending the club's money, i'll take him in LF next year.

Hunter in the outfield is the best option out of those. Possibly could acquire Soriano also and let him play second, but the possibility of that is probably very small.

If I had to pick one or the other, I would say Hunter.

Hunter will be on the DL for a while. The Angels can easily outbid the Cards for Soriano. That leaves Abreu or Burrell. I don't know that the Cards have the talent to offer the Phils for either of those guys.
