Is is just me or is this guy very boring to listen to? I sure miss Marty when he is on vacation. Just now in the bottom of the 6th you could hear Nuxie yelling in the background as the ball almost went out of the park on a ground rule double which gave us the 1-0 lead while Steve is rambling on about some mundane thing...
Let me reprhrase it a bit, he is good for color but just doesn't do play by play well.
Any thoughts?

I want to make sure we are listening to the same Steve Stewart.
From Saturday (http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/scripts/mediaplayer/mp_tpl.jsp?w_id=506037&w=/2006/open/teams06/cin/audio/071506_denorfia_single.wma&pid=gen_audio&gid=2006/07/15/colmlb-cinmlb-1&vid=7758&mid=200607151558815&cid=mlb&fid=gen_audio12&v=2&mType=w&urlstr=&murl=)
From Sunday (http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/scripts/mediaplayer/mp_tpl.jsp?w_id=506196&w=/2006/open/teams06/cin/audio/071606_aurilia_single.wma&pid=gen_audio&gid=2006/07/16/colmlb-cinmlb-1&vid=7758&mid=200607161559961&cid=mlb&fid=gen_audio12&v=2&mType=w&urlstr=&murl=)
He sure sounds exciting, plus there is always something interesting to say.
The problem with Stewart is that I don't think he is as comfortable as Marty about talking about stuff. Marty allows Stewart to be comfortable with the random talking that we enjoy.

I like the guy. It was harder getting used to Marty after listening to Al Michaels. Stewart will be OK as he sticks around longer.
