I saw this thread in the CKL forum so i figured it would be a good idea if we do the same here. Post a short biography of yourself so that we get to know each other a little better. Some suggestions would be what your favorite teams and players are and also the reason why you chose the team you are managing.

GM: Brandon Matics

GM: Chris True
Age: 13, 14 on September 11th (1 day younger than Steve)
Favorite Team: Cardinals
Favorite Sport: Baseball
Favorite Position: Pitcher, Centerfield, Right Field.
Why I chose my team: I was born and still live in St. Louis. I've grown up loving the Cardinals. My favorite player would have to be Roger Clemens because of his domination on the mound.

GM: Jordan
sex: male
Team: Astros (2006-2007+)
Age: 16 (3/8/91)
5'4" 107 IB  :laugh
Favorite Team: Yankees
Favorite Sport: Baseball, NASCAR (if you call it one) and I like all sports anyways
Favorite Driver: #20 Home Depot Chevy (Tony Stewart)
Favorite Position: All of them
(early 2006) Why I picked my team: The Yankees were already chosen (grr :D ) The Astros A- Team, the Tri-City Valley Cats are near where I live so I saw some of these guys and some I didn't but they were there. Like Jason Hirsh (didn’t see him) the same with Einertson. I saw Zobrist, Parraz, Koby Clemens and a lot of others. I was rooting for the astros would win the WS in 2005 year. So I decided to pick them. At 1st, I had picked the Angles, but changed teams the next day because they aren't as good as they once were. I was also a fan of the angles from the START of the 2002 season till last year. My Favorite Players for the angles were the 2 E's. Now one is on the cards, and the others on the w/ sox. My Favorite player a few years ago was A. Soriano when he played for the Yankees. O I also like the Mets. :) My dad is a Mets fan, so if the Mets play for someone else, I will cheer for them, but when it comes down to playing the Yanks (and the astros) the Mets better loses!
This year, my favorite Player is Jeter. Now not because of his name, stats, or anything like that, just because he is an all around good guy away from b-ball to and is one of the hardest working position player. (I said position player because if I didn’t, R. Clemens would get the award.)
EDIT: now Cano is my favorite :) (Jeter & Posada 2nd, and A-rod as long as he is hitting these bombs!)

GM Justice Barrington (named after David Justice)
Age:14 June 10, 1992
Favorite Positions: Left Field and 2nd Base. (No Arm...but getting better)
Favorite Sport: Baseball...no brainer!
Why I chose the Royals: Guys, I want a challenge!!! And look how much better I've made them. Mike Sweeney was the face of the franchise, but now it's guys like Jose Guillen, Magglio Ordonez, and Jose Vidro. And Roy Oswalt and John Smoltz. I even rebuilt the bullpen with Ayala, Marte, and Seanez. A far cry better than Burgos and Sisco. My record doesn't show it because my best additions have come recently and the ammount of simulation has decreased. But My team is going to make a run. And who'd have thought Elmer Dessens would have been so great, both out of the bullpen and in the rotation. You know how many original Royals I have left over on my active roster!!! 3!!! Chad Allen, John Buck, and Elmer Dessens!!!
So I think I'm a pretty darn good GM but w/e.
Favorite Player: John Smoltz, Jeff Fracoeur, Chipper Jones, Brian McCann. All Time: Rickey Henderson. On My Team: Magglio and Smoltz.

Elliot (Yankee Legend)
I'm 17 years old and born on May 2, 1989. I was born in Moscow, Russia and immigrated here in december of 1990. Unlike other Russian immigrant kids my favorite sport is baseball. At first i loved basketball (I was and still am a huge Patrick Ewing fan). But then one summer i was at a camp and the kids there taught me how to play baseball. I fell in love with the game. I figured this was the perfect sport for me and I have been an addict since. The first game I watched on TV was in the 1996 World Series. That series made me a Yankee fan for life. Hence I am managing them in this game. My favorite player would probably have to be Derek Jeter. But I like all the Yankees.
Baseball management experience:
Baseball Mogul 2006: 1904, 1905, 1961, 1963, 2007, 2008, 2010 Wold Series Champion w/ New York Yankees
Baseball Mogul 2007: 1980 Champion w/ Phillies 2007 Champion w/ Dodgers
Fantasy Baseball: 4-time 2nd place champion

My name is Geoff. I'm 16 and I live north of Toronto. I play baseball on a select team and I love to catch. Recently, I've been injured (ankle sprain) and I have enjoyed coaching first for my team in the meantime. I love the Blue Jays. Gotta say that Gregg Zaun is my favourite player, with honourable mention going to Reed Johnson. I chose the White Sox because I arrived here late, and YL was looking for a GM for them.

My name is Scott Taylor. No, I'm not the same Scott Taylor that pitches for the Cubs A-ball team, the Peoria Chiefs. I was born on March 20, 1989. My favorite team is obviously the Cubs, which is why I chose to be their new GM when their old one left! My favorite player is Carlos Zambrano. He can pitch and hit. In fact, his slugging percentage is better than some position players on the Cubs!

GM: Andrew Haynes
Age: 20 (left teenager status July 16th, or 8 days ago! But I think I'm one of the oldest GMs here, judging by previous "bio" posts)
Favorite Team: Uh, might it be the Giants? Maybe?
Favorite Sport: Baseball, but soccer and softball are close
Favorite Position: SS/2B
Favorite Player: Was Jeff Weaver, but then he went to The Hated Dodgers. Now? Maybe Barry
Why I chose my team: Saw YL's sig saying the Giants were available and figured I'd take a crack at it.
Previous Baseball Simulation Experience: Currently in fourth season as GM of the Frostbite Falls Flying Squirrels in the Bullard Alternative Reality Baseball league (BARB), which was started by a teacher at my high school (Bullard HS in Fresno) my junior year there. It is run on with DMB, which is a lot like Baseball Mogul. I won the league championship the first year, finished second the second year, and won it again last year.
Hey, otis89 is a whopping 11 days older than my brother!
Good to be here.
