The Twins scored a gem with Jason Tyner. I remember following this guy last year. In 2001 (in the Majors) he batted .280 with 31 SB with Tampa Bay. Since then, he had been bounced around until ending up with the Twins, where he's had to sit in the shadows of a long line of outfielders. If the Twins DO end up trading Torii Hunter (let's hope they don't), they have a good replacement for CF with Jason Tyner. Can anybody say "walk off"!!!!!!

As a Mets fan, I liked him when he came up. But he still hits almost nothing but singles and draws very few walks. So he's much better off batting eighth as the Twins have him.

I remember the O's announcer, during a game with TB a few years back, saying Tyner hadn't hit a home run since high school. Has he hit one yet?
Was there ever a faster 4-man OF? Tyner, Crawford, Gathrite, Baldeli

Nope. He's closing in on 1000 major league at-bats (currently at 990) without a home run.
