Not for nothing, if the Yankees have spent the last 5 years LOSING 81+ games every year, they would also have a bunch of good young talent on their team by now.

Isnt it kinda just the law of averages. The big difference is that big market teams can hold onto their talent for years to come. (hello Kazmir?)

Actually we didnt lose 81 games last year;)

Law of averages certainly have not helped teams like KC, Tampa, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Montreal/Washington and till this year, Detroit..

I couldn't be prouder. My 9 year old son is just really getting into baseball this year. I couldn't possibly explain what Mr. Wright has done for him the last 2 nights except possibly create a Met fan for life. :)

Do you realize how much talent and how many GREAT players have come out of those systems? They simply have moved on to the big market teams. The Mets are in good shape there, because they are by far the worst big market team in the past 5 years.

That's just beautiful :dance
I think this is true in many homes around here. David --and Jose--are great with the youngest fans. Gotta love what's going on in Metsville:clapping
