Hey! 3-4 from the 'stros in their park, against their pitching! Our birds fought back, beat up Lidge and Oswalt, finally win a series, and head into the All-Star break on a + note.:gt :p :clapping

It's about time. Hopefully the All-Star break will give the starting pitchers some rest so they'll be good for the second half.

An incredible comeback on saturday and then holding on last nite after blowing the lead and winning in extra innings. If they win the division, this will certainly have to be the turning point, after the 3-13 skid. The Central is rather lousy and I think the Cards, despite some gaping holes in their pitching and lineup, are still the best team, but nothing close to what they were the past 2 seasons.
