Let's think up our own nicknames for today's players. Some we should just leave alone. I love Big Papi. But I think we can do a lot better than A-Rod. If we wanted to be mean, something like Captain Clutch could work. Give your suggestions for nicknames for various players.

How about the killer B's, started a few years back and have been a continued tradition in Houston.
Just recently hired Sean Berry as interim hitting coach and if I'm not mistaken, one of the original Killer B's.

I call Ryan Howard "Clifford" after the children's story Clifford the Big Red Dog. One of his nicknames is Big-Dog, he wears a red uniform, and his nose is so wide that it's like a dog nose.

From Nolan Ryan being "The Train" and Roger Clemens being "The Rocket" I had an idea for the big duo up in Minnesota.
