What would you do with Homer Bailey if you were Krivsky?
Me, I would have him in AAA for two starts and then promote him to the Majors.

leave him in AA for at least 5 more starts and let him go no higher than AAA.
no need to create another Zach Greinke or Wil Ledezma.

Well said, Bailey should not be rushed to the majors. He arguably has the best stuff of any pitcher in the Reds organization, but he is still learning how to pitch.
Where is Zach Greinke now a days anyway? We don't want that happening with Bailey because he is the ace of the future.
I would keep him in AA for the majority of the year and depending on how he does in the second half, give him a few starts in Louisville down the stretch, but he should certainly not pitch for the Reds in 2006. It would be a high risk, low reward situation for him to pitch in Cincy this year.
