The Braves used to have a minor league team in the Southern League called the Anderson Braves for a few years. I can't be certain if that's Anderson, South Carolina, where I live. I can't find any proof of it. Oy.

have you tried searching the internet?
is there a braves forum somewhere here, on baseball-fever?
libraries in your town?
sports talk radio shows in your town?
sports section Q&A of your local newspaper?
might there be any knowlegeable in sports history person in your town?
have you asked the current radio broadcasters for the braves minor league teams? they're generally available via email and welcome these kind of questions. and if they don't know, will search to find the answer for you.
what about trying the braves major league site?

good luck. let us know what you find out (and how you got the answer!).
