There are too many polls on "Should Player X be in the HoF?", too many threads on rankings, and too many vote-off games. These don't belong in any forum on BBF, so I propose we create a new one and move all the threads there. Stop cluttering up perfectly good forums!

Note: I got this idea from AstrosFan.

A "should player X belong in the HOF?" type thread doesn't belong in any forum on BBF? Isn't that what we got the HOF Talk forum for? I mean, if we're not talking about that there, where are we talking about it?

Player rankings are about historical players, and discussing their relative merits, so that fits nicely under history.

Vote-offs would seem to fit well under trivia.

I don't see how you can say that none of these type threads belong in any particular forum.

I believe that quite a few quality baseball forums would encourage "Who belongs and who doesn't?" types of threads under their HoF/Cooperstown/Enshrinement forums. I've also seen various tier levels, since I don't believe that some of the better players like Ruth, Williams and Cobb are top tier, but some of the more recent inductees aren't up to that capability. Everyone's different.

As to clutter and lack thereof, what would you prefer should be posted in the HoF forum?

As to AstrosFan, perhaps he/she could post here, since it was his/her idea. :)
