What's your favourite MLB Jersey? It can be either past or present and either gameday or BP.

But I never really hated them until I saw all of the hip-hop-gangsta' wannabe's wearing them. That turned me off for good.

My favorite jersey is the current Seattle Mariners home jersey which they have been using essentially unchanged since 1993. The only change I would like to see is the discontinuation of last names on the backs of the jerseys (or in Ichiro's case first names). No-name jerseys look better to me, more of a classic look.

Pretty much any Red Sox jersey is good for me. I really like the Red alternates, espically since they do not over use them. They would look better with a red hat though.

One of my favorites is a rare jersey (uniform) that was only used a few times for night games in 1944 by the Dodgers. It was a powder-blue satin uniform designed to look shiny under the lights. I love the Denver nuggets road unis which are essentially the same color and fabric. I wish the Dodgers would revive this look for an alternate - it would be awesome!

1929-30 Braves. The Indian head on the back is a winner! Too bad they only wore this design for two seasons. I like the colors too. Isn't it strange that in all the years baseball has been around that hardly any teams have ever worn red and gold as a color scheme.

I like the Browns jerseys of the 40s and 50s because they were among the first to ever use a cast shadow style of numbers and letters. Again it's strange to me why nobody else used cast shadows until just very recently. :confused:

I like most of the traditional unis, including those of the Red Sox and Dodgers, even though I hate the teams.
But to me there will always be something special about a pinstriped uni with an interlocking NY.

Hey PopTop, I forgot about the shooting star 'Stros uni, and thank goodness the Houston club no longer has a single-action revolver on their jersey. Can you imagine what the urban punksters would do with that one?:eek:
