I just found out that a good friend of mine's first cousin is Jamie Shields of Hart high school. :clapping Looks like he's doing pretty good. Guess I'll be rooting for the Rays in the AL. His last start sucked though - what happened?

He should have been out of an inning, but Huff bobbled a ball at third, allowing Hanley Ramirez to reach first after 2 were out. Then there were some seeing eye hits and gappers and before you knew it, 4 runs had scored. I didn't expect him to go undefeated, but he certainly has been a pleasant surprise.
My question is, he was called Jamie Shields throughout the minors, now that he's in The Show, he's James Shields...what's up with that? :D
