Jim Gantner (1976-92)

Gantner may not be much of a hitter, but he's theonly one with any longevity at 2B for the Brew Crew. His 1449 games at 2B beats the #2 guy by 900 games.

In this situation, it's got to be Gantner based on longevity alone.

Jimmy Gantner's numbers don't jump out at you, but in his era 2nd basemen didn't have to be great hitters. He had a great work ethic,played as hard as anyone, and wouldn't back down from any confrontation period.
