The Cardinals are 7-5 minus Albert Pujols, with a sweep of The Rockies with David Eckstein out of the lineup for a couple of games. They got some good pitching this weekend, also. Now, if they can get Mark Mulder and Sidney Ponson back in form ... I think the future looks bright. They are 7 ahead of Houston and 5.5 ahead of Cincinnatti. I like it.
But, they have a great series coming up against Chicago. I wish we could have pitched Carpenter in one of those games ... it looks like Mulder, Ponson and Marquis. Definitely not the the head up matches we would like, but ... hopefully we can take a couple ... if not all three. :)
What are you folks thinking are The Cardinals chances in the division/postseason? What would you like to see change? Who should go? Who can we get?
