I was wondering where Gabriel Morency of the Team 990 (CKGM) is?
I heard he was suspended...

Morency is pre-empted by ESPN according to Team 990 web site:
Gabriel Morency is pre-empted, replaced by ESPN programming
He always ahd a big mouth but was good for sports.

he got suspended for 1 month...it was in the Gazette couple weeks ago...
"Morency benched again: The official word from the Team 990 is that self-styled rage-aholic Gabriel Morency is on holiday, but the master of midnight mayhem has actually been suspended for a month. Nobody is saying why, but it should be noted that this is the third time Morency has been benched for misconduct. He has talent and an extensive knowledge of sports, but he also has a self-destructive streak that has kept him from becoming a prime-time fixture."

I never liked Morency.
I much prefer Substance to style. I don't really remember him much, when it came to the Expos post game show, but living in MTL this winter and turning on 990 after a Habs game was just awful. That guy gave 110% a run for their money. Just as brash and stupid as those clowns.

yeah, he said such ridiculous things about the Habs like so:
"Michael Ryder, I have never seen a player score such useless goals :grouchy he reminds me of Brian Savage"
"I'm sorry, I was harsch on him"
