Who is the Brewers all-time catcher?
Mike Matheny (1994-98)
Charlie Moore (1973-86)
Dave Nilsson (1992-99)
Darrell Porter (1971-76)

Ted Simmons?
You want to vote for a guy who only played 297 games at catcher with the Brewers in the five seasons he was with them??

I went with Porter, but this is a motley crew. Only Moore and Surhoff have as many as 500 games as a catcher for the Brewers.

Nope. I'll change it.

I'm going with Surhoff, though Nilsson would also be a good choice.

I'll go with Nilsson, the Aussie. He was solid in his 7 years, but what ever happened to him? He was only about 30 when he left the BrewCrew.

He left to play for Australia during the 2000 olympics.
He tried making a comeback with Boston in 2002 I believe, but he never made it back. It's a shame.

He bought the Australian National League, which then went out of business. I believe now he runs a baseball school in the Gold Coast, Australia.

Is that Jerry McNertney? I can't make out the signature.
