Anyone using the new Louisville TPX Catalyst composite bat or the Easton Stealth COMP composite bat? Do you like it, hate it? My son would like to try out the big barrell, senior league version but these bats cost $299 and I am not going to run right and buy one. Any benefits hitting with a composite bat over an aluminum bat? He is hitting fine now with a Rawlings aluminum bat (the green colored bat). Any remarks on these bats would be appreciated. Thanks

You might want to take a look at the Demarini Vexxum. The kids using one on our BR 13-15 team love it.

I'd stick with the bat hes using or something simmilar. Don't fix it if it aint broken.

I love the Vexxum and the Voodo (what I use). It gets amazing pop, and the half and half makes it easy to swing, and never stings your hands.
