Rather it be a guy coming in out of the bullpen, or an OF you wince at everytime the guy gets a ball hit toward them. Also, the guy you just go uh oh, when he comes to the plate? Who scares the "heck" out of you folks?
For me it is a tie between Todd Jones and Craig Monroe. It would be T Jones solo, but Craig Monroe scares me at the plate and in the field.

I never thought I'd say this but A-Rod. He damn near dropped that pop up today. I just had a feeling something was wrong when they were showind a routine pop up play on sportscenter.

Randy Johnson on the mound.
Right now, I figure that Julian Tavarez' name may just be floated around by a few New Englanders.

Right now, I figure that Julian Tavarez' name may just be floated around by a few New Englanders.I think the fans of every team Tavarez ever played for laugh when he comes out to pitch in a pressure situation for his latest employer. You can just see his cojones shrink as he looks in to take his sign.... uh, so to speak.

Sad to say it but I agree.

On the Giants it is definitely a tie between Tim Worrell and Armando Benitez. Whenever I watch or listen to a game and I hear that one of them is coming in in a close game (or even a game where the Giants are winning by 6 or less), I just say, "Uh-oh, here it goes again."

Adam Dunn either strikes out or hits a home run. Most of the time, it's not the latter. His fielding is pretty bad, too.
Seeing David Weathers on the mound keeps me on the edge of my seat.

Truer words were never spoken. I knew, when he came in last night, that somehow, someway, he'd blow it. The deal was written in stone when he hit a batter.
Seanez makes me worry. Tavarez makes me scream. :grouchy

On the Orioles it's Luis "I'm under the Mendoza Line Again" Matos and Jeff "I couldn't hit the ground if I fell out of a chair" Conine

Gotta be Lance Carter. That guy is the worst pitcher of all time. I'd prefer setting a tee out there to having Carter pitch.

In Boston, I'd say Tavaras (even before yesterday), Seanez, and Foulke all get you a little worried when they're trotting out to the mound.
Defensively, anything hit Manny's direction has the potential to be "an adventure".

russ adams only on defense when someone hits a grounder to him and pretty much anyone in the bullpen except schoneweis and ryan.

When anyone comes out of the Whitesox bullpen, besides Jenks or McArthy, I hide under my couch with my hands to me ears. Eventually, when I figure the game is over, I come out and check the final score, "first I pray to Jesus". The Sox bullpen scares me, most of all Thornton. Also when Uribe or Anderson come up at the bottom of the order, with runners on base, I put in a old VHS of "Lassie come home" since I know what the outcome of their at bats are going to be already.
Boy, those two are scary with wood in their hands.

Jorge Julio. I remember when I was at a game, and the Mets were winning by something like 6 to 0 in the 8th and I told my dad "Let's stay, there'll be extra innings."
someone already mentioned him but.... chris reitsma.. i get scared every time the braves are winning and they pull the starter..

I second that nomination. When he doesn't walk guys, he is fine, but he was averaging over a walk per inning. I don't know if it is better, but yikes!

Well you're talking about Adam Dunn on the Reds, but you might as well be talking about Richie Sexson this year for the Mariners too, sorry to say. I guess he would have to be my choice for this thread. :ughh

Esteban Loaiza. Whenever he takes the mound, you know that massive run support will be needed. As far as A's hitters go, it's gotta be Bobby Crosby. He seems to K when a clutch hit is needed.

I never thought I'd say it. But each time Johnson pitches, I have to wonder which Unit I will be seeing. He either is the future HOFer or some guy who needs to retire or pitch in Columbus. I am happy that the guy out there tonight is the one with a ticket to Cooperstown. But what about next time?

Ryan Franklin and Julio Santana, when they come in the Phillies will either....
A. Lose the lead they had
B. Go Down even more runs than they were
I hate those two guys

Everytime I see Cliff Floyd try to field a ball I wince. When Carlos comes back the Mets seriously need to move Lastings to left field and ship Floyd to the AL for some middle relief -- hence allowing them to move Heilman into the starting rotaton.

Also whenever a Phillies pitcher must quickly throw to third, or throw to any base...they misthrow the ball throwing to third all the time
Whenever a ball is hit toward Bobby Abreu

Id say Taverez and Seanez. They have been atrosious this season. Seems like they can be counted on giving up a run every apperance.
Also Mark Bellhorn (not on the team anymore) got on my nerves. It seemed like he struck out every dang AB.

Unfortunately he has been too inconsistant this year. I'm not sure which Randy will show up when he pitches. That is why I agree on Randy.
