Would anyone be interested in a Team Stock Exchange? The way it works is, you have $250 million to invest in five teams. Each team's value is its winning percentage, rounded off to the nearest thousandth, times 100 million. So the most costly team would be the Tigers at $63.5 million.
The change in the value of your stock would be based on the teams' winning percentages, so look for teams likely to improve, not just good teams. And remember, a bad team will return greater rewards for improvement.
It's a simplistic system, but I wanted to keep things easy for everyone to keep track of. You will be responsible for tracking the change in value of your teams. I know not everyone can be held to the same schedule, but something pertaining to a weekly report would be nice.
No team is exclusive to any person; this is not 30 teams at 5 teams a piece equals 6 participants. Anyone can play, so join in! Obviously there is no prize, so it's not important who wins this. But I'll show the top ten anyway.
