This swing gets my vote for the best swing in softball right now.
In a word - POWERFUL

I dont have any Mendoza clips but I will tap into my resources to see if I can come up with one or two.

Northwestern hitters tended to take a pretty good hip coil/inward turn which is unusual in fastpitch.
Notice the nice "tilt" of the shoulders with the drop and tilt in Dyer

I agree. You dont see that too often in softball. It is becoming a bit more common among those teams that teach rotational hitting. Obviously the NW coaches have spent some time with these girls on hitting.
The thing that probably caught my eye first was the hitting posture they were in as I watched them hit. Then when they started jacking the ball all over the place I woke up off the chair and really started paying attention. They were hitting a number of good pitchers all the way to the championship game.

Obviously you haven't seen Barry Bonds swings, nor McGwires or Pujols.

I most seriously doubt that. I've seen Bond's plant a 101 MPH Fastball, foul, into McCover Cove.
