When will this be played? Which team hosts this?

Also, how is the host stadium chosen? Who does the choosing?

Being in Detroit, last years host. I believe that it is a bid process much like the Super Bowl, the Final Four and the Olympics. As to who figures out who gets the game? I guess Bud just spins a bottle, or perhaps whichever team gave Bud the best kick backs?

two-three, the all-star game is traditionally played on the second tuesday of july. next month it will be held in pittsburgh's pnc park. there will be much talk of roberto clemente, and i will be very happy about that.

the site selection process is a bit political, with newer ballyards and cities that have not hosted for some time supposedly getting more attention.
