The Rays are finally getting evryone back on the field. Cantu has been red hot and Baldelli is starting to swing the bat well.A decision will have to be made soon on whether to keep playing Travis Lee or give the job to Ty Wigginton. Lee is by far the better fielder, but Wigginton is swinging a much better bat. They are showing the ability the last couple of games to score enough runs to overcome their bullpen.James Shields had another good game today, but the bullpen once again gave up some runs.

Now if we can only get Aubrey Huff back, the one that was our MVP a few years ago, instead of this imposter in the lineup now. I hate to say it, but it makes you wonder if he was another steroid user who has lost it all now that there is testing.

Huff always starts slow, and this year had to start over a seco0nd time due to injury. Anytime a player has a good one or two years and then declines, followed by injury, you have to ask the steroid question. We will all be surprised by the number of players who did steroids.

Our offense is starting to come together....Pitching...Well..
I'm sure the names of steroid users would surprize us fans.... :(

Absolutly. We only suspect the guys who have gotten huge overnight. Thats why Mlb has tried to look the other way. I would bet the number of players doing steroids an other performance enhancing drugs is staggering.

While we have been watching the off the field problems in Durham, The Rays have posted two impressive road wins over the Phillies. James Shields pitched another strong game friday night, and Scott Kazmir seemed to get back on track last night. The relief pitchers did their job both nights, and the bats kept on smoking. Perhaps the Rays can put a little run together, and get the excitement that we felt at the begining of the year back.
