Just watched young lefty Phillip make his MLB debut against the Braves, he gave up a single to Brian Jordan before getting Todd Pratt to fly to center for the last out in the 8th of a 14-4 Astros win. Welcome to the big leagues, kid, you looked good, and get to spend at least a day in the record books with a 0.00 ERA!

Proud uncle Scott was hopefully at the game!

Proud uncle Scott was hopefully at the game!Actually, Scott is Phillip's cousin. I went to high school years ago with their uncles/fathers.

But you're right, it sure was a nice thing to see him finally pitch in the bigs :)

Thanks folks, and yes I did feel old for a second......:crazy

To understand the family tree here goes:

Frank Sr

Frank Jr (my dad)
Chris
Keith
Greg (Willie's high school bud)

Joe Sr

Joe Jr (Frank Abignale's personal travel companion)
Terry (similar age as Keith and Philip's father)

I would point there are many other brothers and sisters from that generation, but this should suffice. That would officially make Philip a second cousin once removed.

I was at Sunday's game. He came into the game (8th) as the song "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult played in the ballpark. It sounded good. It has been a while since I've heard that song. Barzilla said that Hickey has been singing that 1977 song to him for about four years. Barzilla said he didn't mind the song though. "I had a good outing so we'll keep it," he said.
