our pitching sucked and we lost...same old story...go figure. Its pretty hard to lose a game when you score 9 runs. Unless of course your pitching sucks. Is it safe to say we know what the problem is yet??

Well atleast Zach Duke is going tonight. Hopefully he can get the Pirates off on the right foot to start this series.

That's pretty weak.:ughh I'm just getting into the Bucco's, so I'm just starting to get a feel for all the players and what they can do. What's down on the farm? Is there any hope on its way up soon?

You're probably right in that the pitching is the problem but atleast the field is pretty solid. In the infield, Jack Flash and Jose Castillo make a nice DP combination. Sean Casey brings some much needed pop and Freddy Sanchez is challenging for a batting title. Then you've got Craig Wilson who you can plug in just about anywhere. The OF is decent too. Bay, well what can I say, he's a rock. Mclouth? I wish I got to see some Pirates games on TV to see how he looks, but he's home-grown so hopefully he can make good. Burnitz is adequate to the needs of a poor club like this one. Over all it's a good young core and it seems like they find a way to score runs every night. If they can get some consistent pitching, the dark years could soon come to an end.
