The Cubs bring in a boat load of money every year, plus they have made the playoffs a few times in the last 10 years, almost made the World Series a few years back
The Devil Rays havent been around long, and they have drafted well... if you put them in the NL or just out of the AL East they would have made the playoffs already... give it a few seasons and they'll be there thanks to all their young talent
The Pirates have been bad, but atleast they have some decent prospects coming thru their system now, showing they have drafted decently well
The Tigers had some down seasons, including 119 losses, but now their young players are developing while winning at the MLB level
The Orioles are also stuck in the AL East, put them in the NL or another division they wouldnt be as bad as they are now
Now for the Royals, they havent made the playoffs since 1985, they have been plain horrible pretty much every season, and their farm system isnt even good... so they have managed to be extremly bad and not get any better... that is a hard feat to accomplish

The Dodgers
How so?
In the last 10 years, The Dodgers have put together 8 winning seasons while making the playoffs twice. They are once again competitive and have a classic stadium.

You gotta remember that WICF is more of a Dodger hater than an Angel fan. He probably thinks the Dodgers are in the AL West, that's why he hates them so much.

Its between the D-rays and Royals as worst over last 10 years. But I would have to go with KC. The D-rays may have a worse winning percentage over the last 10 years (really 8 seasons) there record has been 542-810 .401 winning percentage. The Royals since 1996 have a record of 693-979 .414 winning percentage. But the D-rays have some promising young stars in their organazation and shouldnt be that bad for that much longer. On the other hand the Royals have absoultly nothing going for them. There organazation is just pathetic ranging from players, farm system, coaching, ownership, etc and it doesnt seem like there is going to be alot of relief in sight. So actually it would have to be the Royals in a landslide. Its too bad to see a powerhouse in the 70's and 80's go to the worst team in baseball.

The D-Rays also are an expansion team... the Royals didnt have to start from scratch and theyre still horrific

Not to mention probably having the highest attendance over the past 10 seasons.

That title would go to the Yankees. 4 WS in that span. Kinda tough to beat.

Pirates and Royals, the both stink and should be contracted.

I went with the royals because of their performance the last well...bunch of years, they have no real abundance of young talent, while the D-rays, although never had a real good season, are very young and have an array of young, solid talent. They look poised to make a run for the east in the next couple years. Plus GOMES RULES!

Yes i do like creating random polls
I think the least you can do, if you're going to post all these random polls on topics that have been touched upon in the past in quite a few cases, is mention what your views are.

I voted for the Royals.
(No offense Royal fans). Every night I am glad that I have teams like the Royals and the Cubs to keep me company. Bad ownership...losing seasons....
*sigh*

Voted for the Royals because unlike the Devil Rays -- they haven't been a recent expansion team.
