With the new GM coming on board, with a firm hand to clean
house, wonder how former Tigers & Rockies skipper Buddy Bell
will fare with him ? Do you think he'll send Buddy a packing,
and bring in some one of his choosing ? maybe someone from
the Braves org ?

I sure hope so!! Buddy Bell needs to go. We need a coach with a good winning record and good experience.

But who would want to coach the Royals.

Should of never been hired. Former Kansas City Royal and current Angel pitching coach Bud Black should get the job

To be honest, I never liked the idea of Bell being the KC manager in the first place. He had a track record that was at best mediocre. That's not good enough. However, I wonder who will be the new manager if Bell gets axed.

It's real hard to judge Bell's managerial record. He managed in such lost organizations as the Tigers, the Rox, and, now, KC. On the other hand, Leyland has the Tigers in 1st overnight, so that ought to tell you something.

Bell is a guy that MIGHT have been a good manager, once upon a time, but he's done nothing but lose. That affects a manager to where he either (A) panics too quickly or (B) treats losing as normal. Usually the latter. I don't see a sense of urgency in the Royal organization, although the recent firing of the pathetic Allard Baird might be a sign that one is on the way.
