it was a nice win this afternoon, finally beating the yanks for the second time this year and avoiding the sweep. so much for making up ground in the al east. now comes the jays and lilly is going against the o's on monday night. i will be there monday and im not sure to be excitited to see cabrera come back or be scared. his walk ratio is unbelievable this year. he has great stuff but as we saw with julio from previous years if you cant locate your stuff you will be nothing. well it should be fun, hopefully there ill be a nice crowd out there. ok guys cya

I'm going to the game tomorrow night. The best seats I've ever sat in (right behind homeplate!).

I was thinking of taking my camera. Do you think any of the players would be willing take a picture with me during BP? I've never been allowed to go close to the field during BP before. My seats were never good enough (usually I'm stuck in RF).

Some of the players will. You should have been there on Sunday it was fan photo day...and all of the players came around and took pictures with the fans.

If you get to BP I know a couple of the young guys will come around...but in the past the lines to get to them can get pretty long...check out the Orioles fan forum and ask there. A few of the fans have been going to games for years (season ticket holders) and can help you out on this.

you might be able to grab a few players for some pics. most wont actually come p but from a distance you can get a few. some players sign before the game starts and even when bp is going on. i got a ball from sindey rleal and bengie molina last night and got corey patterson, ramon hernandez, kris benson, brian roberts and dave cash to sign it after the game at the players parking lot. have a good time

Thanks, I didn't end up bringing my camera. I was tired from working in the sun all day. But I did go to BP (and got to go to left field with the season ticket holders). I got a ball off an automatic double.

How late do you have to stay to see the players in the parking lot? I'd like to go one day, but can't stay real late because I take the light rail to games. I guess I can go during a day game but I'm sure that its crowded then.

Also at BP I noticed B.J. Ryan is a real jerk. A couple balls would roll to the fence and none of the players seemed to noticed. Some kids called B.J. over to get it. He just took the ball and started to throw it around with the other Blue Jays in the outfield. Another fan had a #52 Orioles BP jersey. He called over to BJ. BJ was like "hey thats my number". The fan ask if he could sign it, but BJ walked right past him without even acknowledging him. Before I was indifferent about B.J. when he left. But after seeing him at BP I booed him when he came out in the ninth (I also noticed they had cops on the field when he came out, I was surprised that they thought he was that hated here in Baltimore).

That's really annoying because he was so great to fans when he was here. The fans had nothing to do with the issues that happened to him here in Baltimore...we wanted him to stay. In fact...a couple of blue jays fans have come onto the Orioles fan board (on the MLB Orioles page) to say how great BJ is to fans. He used to be great to O's fans too.

Sad to see. Mussina is still great to O's fans when he comes to town.

the majority of players come out anywhere from a half hour to an hour. i hear the best time to get players autographs are when they arrive. im going to try that when i go to the game on the 21st vs the marlins and i will give you my opinion

I've heard this for the Ravens, it may be true for the O's too (probably less people). But don't players usually arrive really early? You might be better off going when they arrive, then going home, and then back to the game. I know someone who did that while getting autographs for the Ravens.
