Seattle/A's or Seattle/Angels is about the same but I see Seattle as the 3rd team looking in with the A's/Angels rivarly the best in the AL West by far

But if I had to choose I would say Oakland.Oakland only because they can't beat the A's. But I don't think the A's remotely feel the M's are a major rival. Just my 2¢. :)

I voted for Oakland, just because when the M's were contending during the start of this decade, the team that was always right there with us was the A's. We've had some good races with the Angels as well, but the A's have definitely been our nemesis in the 2000's.

Looks like August is going to be a good month to rekindle some division rivalries. We play Texas, Oakland, and Anaheim/California/Los Angeles practically the whole time! Let's hope we can start winning some games aginst the A's.

My first instinct was to vote for the Yankees. Then I realized, it's not so much that we're rivals with the Yankees, as it is that every team is a rival with the Yankees. Every team likes to beat the Yanks.
So, with that in mind, I think no other AL West team has given us more headaches than the Oakland Athletics. So they got my vote.

Yeah, I'm voting for Oakland, since they always make a run in August, and are a real pain in the Ms butts. Shoot, they had 102 wins in 01 as a WILDCARD! What team has ever had that many wins and not been a divsion leader? Only the As would be that close on the Ms heels when the Ms were having a record year, and they always manage to ruin everything for the Ms.
That said, I also agree that the Mariners are just too new of a franchise to have a real rivalry.
