Which radar gun is the best performer? Most widely used in baseball? Stalker Pro, Stalker Sport or the Jugs? Thanks

Stalker guns are the most popular with scouts. They can read the ball out of the pitchers hand and when it crosses the plate.
Jugs guns read out of the hand, so they usually register a 2-4 MPH higher than the Stalker guns.
They are both good guns though.

Most of the pro scouts I know prefer the Stalker to the Stalker Pro. None of them use the JUGS. However, if there is more than one Stalker around, the microwave signal they generate causes interference for the others.

How do the cheaper guns stack up? The various Bushnells and others. I have a old Speedchek handless which gives me readings that seem off and I was thinking of getting a hand held but don't really have the budget for Stalker or Juggs.
