Yesterday against the Twins, Eddie Guardado pitched in his 757th career game, passing Jack Quinn for 41st all time. Next up is Tommy John with 760.

If you last that long you have to at least have average talent though.

He did...when he was right, he threw 91-92 mph with great location and a little late bite that kept hitters from getting all of his fastball, plus had a cute slop-slider he located well and a good change-up. Now he throws 86 with his best fastball, his change-up and fastball are flat and consistantly up in the zone and his slider is non-existant.

Passes Jack Quinn in games maybe, but not in IP's or productivity. No disrespect to "Every Day" Eddie, but he's in his 14th season and has a meager 816 IP's. After 14 seasons Quinn had over 2700 IP's.

Man, I cringe every time they bring Eddie in. Love the guy but he's used up.
