Now, I see from time to time (ok almost everyother day on BB Tonight) something about the Roger Clemens sweepstakes.
I know it sounds preposterous, but Illitch throw the hat in. I suggest this, take 1/2 to 2/3 of the money you planned on spending on the Wings next year (2004 Red Wings salary 60+ million, 2006 Red Wings salary 38 million, next years cap about 40 million projected).....that frees up at least 20 million by my count. GIVE IT TO CLEMENS, for 1/2 a season (or a good chunk of it).
I will in my plea, to help you out...buy an extra beer every game, and you can even charge an extra dollar. Since, I am a mini season ticket holder...that would be more then 100 dollars in extra beers and more the 20 in price increase. Now imagine if 4 or 5 more people did that you'd be rolling in the Benjamin's
