14-3 since Cinco de Mayo.
Outscoring opponents like crazy - 46-11?
Sixth straight won series.
Nomar en fuego.
Saito solid.
Lofton and Furcal proving that speed at the top of the order is essential.
Dodger farm system showing why it's the best in baseball.
#1 offense in NL
Kent's slump meaningless to the machine called the 2006 Big Blue Wrecking Crew.
This is the team that had Dodger fans so jazzed about the upcoming season. This team is for real.

That was a viscious poke off the pole. What an amazing array of talent the Dodger farm system is right now. Best in baseball. Lowe is reminding me of the kind of year Tim Leary has in 1988. Another great pitched game.

Rick Monday said it left a dent and moved the pole 10 feet back.

It is sad because a few will be gone by August in trades. Maybe for Carl Crawford:clapping :clapping

I hope not for Carl Crawford. Do we really need yet another outfielder? I hope we get a pitcher.

Crawford is what 23 same age as Either and more upside. Maddux will come cheap and maybe David Wells also.

Is exciting going to the games to see the Baby Blue perform along with some Vets. I was surprised to see that Joel Guzman had joined the team yesterday. He is a big kid!

Yeah for D.Lowe and Nomar that are also in my fantasy team!

I don't care about upside. I want Ethier, not Crawford. Both Maddux and Wells are washed up. Why do we need old expensive washed up vets?

Because they are just one year fix. No one will give the A's what they want for Zito and he will end up a FA and then we can sign him in the winter.

Washed up but cheap. Zito and Willis might break the bank

We should be able to make a move for Zito. Look what Atlanta gave up to Oakland for Hudson.

I wouldn't call Maddux washed up he still is a decent pitcher and has World Series experience

Where is Chone Figgins

The last thing we need is another outfielder. Not Wells nor Maddux. Maddux went 5-0 and then hit the fan. Wells can never stay healthy, is that really what we need, another DL journeyman?

Everyone thought Sele was over the hill..............I would really like an ace like a Zito or Ben Sheets but it will take alot to get a stud pitcher. Lowe and Penny will not be enough in the playoffs against the Mets, Cards or Astros.

Stephen Drew is with the D'Backs. Gagne has returned and Cesar is playing in Triple A. Playoffs has been being mention since before Spring Training and being a WS contender is not our upmost goal it is to win the World Series.

We know we have awhile before the WS starts but I have to admit none of the NL teams strike any fear into me for the playoffs

We haven't played all of them yet. The only division leader we've played is Arizona (2-3) and we lost to the Mets last night. I'd like to see how we stack up against the Cards when we play them. We've already shown we can beat Atlanta should they come back for a playoff run, and the Reds don't have much playoff experience (except for Arroyo and Griffey).

I'd rather wait until August and then we can start talking about October. The Dodgers were 33-29 in June and then the wheels fell off.

But it is always fun to mess with fans of St. Louis
