1. Addie Joss

I was going to go with Joss, too, except that he died from tubercular meningitis, which I thought was a brain or spinal disease.

Am I a doctor? No, bit I did stay at a Holiday In Express last night.

4,5,and 6 are correct. Remember, they have a common accomplishment on the field. And it's Wisconsin TIES,not Wisconsin born necessarily.

Al Simmons died of a heart attack at the relatively young age of 54. He was 5'11" - little in comparison to some.

Abner Dalrymple won a HR title.

Those are correct based on the way the question was asked.

I'm sure I can come up with something that is a common accomplishment for all of them and be correct. Something like - "they all struck out in the seventh inning of a ball game on the road."

But then I don't want to be born ambiguous, just have TIES to it.

But Abner and Al never did what the six answers did. It's in regards to home runs.

Big clue: Everyone of you who has looked at this question has seen the answer this morning....Anyone of you could do something so the answer wouldn't be seen.(this probably makes it even more confusing)

Like I said, I can come up with something that Abner and Al did that the others did on the field - as you asked for in your original post. Every one of my five answers was correct

If you ask a trivia question that is so broad and open to interpretations and there are multiple answers to the truth, you run the risk of people saying "what's the use" and processing that for future reference when they see your next post.

Called thread cred down here in the kitchen barrio.

They all had Wisconsin ties? Is Wisconsin known for it's ties? I just checked all of my ties and neither of them was made in Wisconsin, but one did smell like cheese.
