Both are correct.
Barrow earned his HOF credentials by following Ruth to NY and becoming the first of many great GM's the Yanks have had
After Hubbell k'd Ruth Gehrig, Foxx, Simmons, and Cronin, Dickey singled and Gomez reportedly said "What am I doing up here?" before becoming Hubbell's sixth victim.

Is 1 Leo Durocher?

Alston, Lasorda, and Durocher are correct.
Durocher was Mark Koenig's backup on Murderer's Row. Then he played for the Gashouse Gang. Played for two of the most famous teams in history. How many players can claim that? I'm sure there aren't too many.(not a trivia question. just a comment.)
The O'Malleys never signed a manager to more than a 1 year contract. So Alston and Lasorda had to renew their contracts every year during their HOF careers.
# 2 is still out there.

Coombs isn't a HOFer though? at least not as a player.

To make up for that mistake, I'll ask this one.
What HOFer gave up Willie Mays' first homer.

Earle Combs didn't win 3 WS games?! Cute though.
