I know a lot of you are sore about losing two of three to us at RFK. Rest assured I won't rub salt in your wounds. I hope this weekend will be the start of a long rivalry between our two teams, which (to be perfectly frank) are both rebuilding. If the Nats do as well at OPACY as you did at RFK, I will feel fortunate.

What are you talking about Eddie? We destroyed em!
Just kidding O's fans! We beat you! Great series!
Well, ok... hopefully this beltway series will mean a lot more in a few years. The media is trying hard to set the stage (though I don't blame Washingtonians for being ready before we started--I guess any owner would want to control both markets; Cooke, Angelos or otherwise).
Well played, now beat the other teams in your division and we'll attempt to do so with ours. :laugh
And, of course, a tip of the cap to Frank Robinson before we're done.

Yeah, let's start climbing back up the hill by winning against our old manager and pitcher.
Seriously, it was fun. I'd like to see a rivalry build, but in the words of one of my heros Frank Robinson "I'm telling you, this thing takes years. It doesn't take three games. This is just a sample, really. This thing will build over time. It has a good chance to be a rivalry and a real good one. But let's not try to force it in."
Bless you Frank! You are hero!
