Would this be the Latin All-Star Game that was held on October 12, 1963? I do believe that was the last baseball game. I love this story.
But as I recall, the New York Titans were also playing at the field, and football season would have ended sometime in December.

Did the Titan's actually play football?
As anybody who knows anything about AFL history, Harry Wismer was possibly the worst football owner in history. I'm not a Jet fan. But I thank God for Sonny Werblin.

1. Brush Stadium, named after owner John T. Brush. The fans continued to call it the Polo Grounds and by 1919, the official Brush Stadium name was dropped.
